Important information about applying

Who can apply?
  • French law students from the third year of their Licence en droit (L3) onwards, as well as students enrolled in a Master 1 (M1) or Master 2 (M2) in Law, doctoral candidates, trainee lawyers (élèves-avocats) and legal professionals are eligible to apply.
  • Admission requirements for LL.M. programmes vary by law school. Depending on the institution, French applicants may need to have completed a Licence en droit (Bac+3) or at least a Master 1 en droit / Maîtrise en droit (Bac+4) before starting the LL.M.
  • We therefore recommend checking the specific academic and language requirements of the LL.M. programmes you are interested in.
