Allgemeines Anliegen des Stipendiums
The Konstanz Research School Chemical Biology (KoRS-CB) is an interdisciplinary initiative of the Departments of Biology, Chemistry, and Computer & Information Science at the University of Konstanz and is supported by the German Excellence Initiative.
KoRS-CB guides talented graduate students to scientific excellence. The research projects are dedicated to the following research areas: Synthetic Chemistry, Cellular Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biomedicine, and Computational Life Science.
The individually tailored training programme - fully in English language - and the intensive supervision by an interdisciplinary thesis committee are the basic elements for the excellent educational standards of the graduate school.
KoRS-CB accepts new fellows twice a year with starting dates in April and October.
Art der Förderung
Successful applicants will receive a doctoral scholarship up to three years.

Applications are possible in June/July (starting date in October) and December/January (starting date in April). The research projects and the application procedure are specified on our homepage: http://www.chembiol.uni-konstanz.de.
Voraussetzungen
Applicants should hold a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Biology, Chemistry, Life Science or related subjects. They should have finished their studies significantly above average, and have a proven interest in Chemical Biology.
