Das Global Village for Future Leaders of Business and Industry
Das Global Village ist ein praxisorientiertes, interkulturelles Führungstraining, welches seit 1997 jährlich am Iacocca Institute der Lehigh University stattfindet. Das am College of Business and Economics angesiedelte Institut wurde 1988 von Lee A. Iacocca gegründet. Es hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, Programme mit den Schwerpunkten
- Business and industry knowledge
- Leadership and entrepreneurial skills
- Global networks and understanding of cultures
für unterschiedlichste Karrierestufen anzubieten. Neben dem Global Village gibt es noch weitere Programme:
- The Global Village on the Move (für Studenten und Berufseinsteiger)
- The Pennsylvania Governor's School for Global Entrepreneurship (für Schüler weiterführender Schulen)
- Professional Education (für erfahrene Geschäftsführer und Führungskräfte)
